About The Madeira Centennial Criterium
Graphic Image Promotions is a proud sponsor of the Madeira Centennial Criterium being held in the heart of Madeira on Sunday, June 30th 2013. All categories of criterium racers will be competing from 9:00am – 7:30pm. Complete with music, food, beer tent, and kids events. Cyclists will battle for over $7,800 in cash and merchandise. Madeira Centennial Criterium Needed Reusuable Signage and a Race Shirt
The Madeira Centennial Criterium needed to secure an exclusive provider of race day signage and a race day shirt that could deliver solutions for various signage and promotional needs. The requirements for some the signage were to create signage for an outdoor environment and for it to be reusable. Signage needed to included start and finish line signage, sponsor boards, street banners, yard signs, continuous banner displays, and posters.
Our Plan
Since the signage will be used in different ways, we came up with a plan for each sign application and a t-shirt.
- Start and Finish Line Signs – we created two-sided signs out of 10mm corrugated plastic, full-color digitally printed and hung on a metal truss. These signs are heavy- duty, durable and we can update the imprints on them, if needed for next year.
- Street Banner Signs – we constructed two sided, heavy-duty 18 oz vinyl with reinforced sewn edges, applied grommets and d-rings for hanging. Lightweight disposable vinyl was used for the continuous banner displays which helped achieve goal of high-impact and low-cost.
- Yard Signs, Banners, Posters, & More – Colorful yard signs, continuous banner displays and window posters were created using disposable materials.
- T-shirt – A colorful T-shirt including sponsors and the Madeira Centenial Criterium logo for everyone to remember this years race!
Results
We created all race day signage by utilizing a range of different materials-some permanent and some disposable. By utilizing our value-driven product suggestions, race sponsors were able to impress, attract and effectively communicate with their customers!
